- RETURN POLICY.
We will accept returns of all items except for vitamins/supplements/cryotherapy products within 14 days of purchase. To request a return, you must please write to Customer Service using our contact us form to get an RMA #, and to get an appropriate shipping address. The items must be returned in their original packaging and must be in excellent, as-new, condition. We will refund the cost of the item (and tax, if applicable), minus a 15% restocking fee; the customer must pay all shipping charges. Failure to contact us prior to returning an item and/or failure to follow the instructions for returns could result in a refusal of the return. Please see our full Return Policy for more information.
Unlike many other brace shops on the internet, or even in your hometown, all of our braces are in-stock. This means that all items are usually shipped within 24 business hours of purchase. If we are not able to ship a product to you within 72 hours (for example, it is on backorder from the manufacturer - unfortunately we have no control over those situations), we will notify you by email (be sure to enter a valid email address) or telephone. You then have the option to cancel the order at no cost to you, if you wish, or wait for the product to arrive.
We ship within the Continental United States using USPS or FedEx so that all orders can be tracked and are appropriately insured. You may select among the various shipping options (Ground, 2nd Day Air, Next Day Air) in the shopping cart. USPS Priority Mail, our default option, will deliver to most of the U.S. within 2 days! (this is not guaranteed, however - for more urgent matters, we suggest you use FedEx 2nd day or Next Day, which are guaranteed by FedEx). Upon submission of your order to the shopping cart, you will receive a notice, typically within the next 24-48 hours, indicating that your order has been shipped and specifying your tracking number. Please note that FedEx cannot ship to a P.O. Box or APO; in this case, please select shipping via US Postal Service.
You can check the status of your order, once it is shipped, by entering your tracking number at the appropriate shipper's tracking site.
Important: Please note that it typically takes up to 24 business hours for our products to be processed in our warehouse. Please keep this in mind when ordering on weekends or holidays. For example, if you order a brace on Saturday morning and request 2nd Day Air, the order will most likely be processed in our warehouse on Monday, and you should receive it by Wednesday. Also important is that special order braces may take up to 48 business hours to be processed by the appropriate manufacturer.
Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is by the US Post Office Priority Mail - please select this option in our cart. Your order is typically received within 3 days of when we ship it! Again, note that you will not receive a tracking number.

We are one of the few brace sites that will guarantee shipping to most places in the world within 1-2 days. Most other sites use the United States Postal Service. Having used this before, we discovered that braces often took weeks to be delivered, and that in some cases, never arrived at all. For this reason, we only provide the Federal Express shipping option as it has proven reliable and very fast. Although it is a little more expensive, it is well worth the money.
If you live in Canada, please select the "FedEx Ground - Canada" option. Your product will be shipped by Federal Express. You may also select International - FedEx Priority (see below) if you need expedited shipping.
For shipping to all other countries, please use the "International - FedEx International Priority" option in our shopping cart. Federal Express International Priority will deliver within 24-48 hours to most customs offices throughout the world (and is trackable)! This does not mean that the package will arrive in 24-48 hours; it does mean that once the package is shipped, it will take between 1-2 days for the package to reach most customs offices. Each country has different procedures to process the package through customs. Sometimes this takes only 1-2 extra days, but it can take up to 4 weeks in other instances.
If you have any special needs, or need even faster delivery, please write to Customer Service using our contact us form to make special arrangements. We will attempt to accommodate every request, but please understand that it may take some time to make special arrangements.
Please note that all international orders must be shipped to the same address to which your credit card bill is sent. We will contact you personally if your order is particularly large to verify your credit card information. IMPORTANT: please note that you are responsible for any customs charges (e.g., VAT) in addition to the cost of the brace; we do not collect these charges on this site. If duties, taxes, tariffs and fees are not paid by the recipient within 7 days, your credit card will be charged for this amount. For more information (particularly for UK customers), click here.
- PAYMENT AND CURRENCY.
All currency values are in U.S. Dollars. If you are from Canada and are using our shopping cart, your credit card company will perform the appropriate currency exchange automatically upon purchase from our system.
We currently only support credit card transactions. If you have special needs, please write to Customer Service using our contact us form and we can arrange other payment options (e.g., money order). We do not accept personal nor business checks.
- SALES TAX.
All items shipped to within our home state of Michigan are subject to a 6% sales tax. If, for some reason, sales tax was not added to your product order, and the product was shipped to Michigan, we reserve the right to charge your credit card the appropriate sales tax amount in a separate transaction. Orders outside of Michigan are not charged tax.
JointHealing.Com does not bill any insurance company (e.g. Medicare, Blue Cross, etc.) for any of its products. You should check with your insurance company and/or physician to determine whether any of our products are reimbursable by your particular health care insurance and what procedure you need to follow to obtain this reimbursement.
JointHealing.Com provides no warranty for any of the products it sells. The companies that manufacture the product, may, however, include a warranty - information will be in the packaging materials sent with your purchase. We will attempt to assist you in contacting the appropriate company to pursue warranty information, if necessary (all products should have contact phone numbers in their packaging). However, we cannot guarantee warranty service, nor can we get involved with any disputes with the manufacturer. That being said, please note that we have selected products of the highest quality that should stand up to normal wear and tear. We have personally used these products on countless patients and have been more than satisfied with their quality. Because all of our products our medical-grade, you should find that they last longer than similar products mass-produced for sporting goods stores.
