Make reasonable goals for yourself. Remember, you can't run a marathon the first time you go out for a jog, but by setting smaller and more manageable incremental goals, you just might run a marathon before you know it! This applies to any goal, from losing weight to recovering from an injury.


Plan celebrations when you reach those goals. For example, treat yourself to a trip after you've reached the weight you've been trying to achieve.
