The DonJoy FLEX Deluxe Knee Therapy Kit is designed to help you rehabilitate, strengthen, and stretch your knee in the comfort of your own home, using professional equipment – the very same that physical therapists use. You will save hundreds to thousands of dollars by doing your therapy at home, if your insurance company does not fully cover physical therapy visits.

• Variable weight water bag. Allows you to adjust how much weight to apply to your knee during exercise.

• Two (2) rubber Theraband^TM tubings. Used for different resistance exercises; after one becomes too easy for you, you graduate to the second one.

Frequently asked questions about the DonJoy FLEX Deluxe Knee Therapy Kit include

1. Why not just go to a physical therapist? That's a great idea, and we certainly do recommend therapists. However, we find, that in our own patients, those who do their exercises at home, in addition to physical therapy visits, have a much better outcome. In addition, many insurance companies will limit the number of physical therapy visits allowed and leave you "hanging" if you still have a need for further exercise! If you had to pay for physical therapy out of your own pocket, it would cost hundreds to thousands of dollars!
2. Why not just go to my gym? Another good idea, however, you have to be careful. Gym equipment is much more "heavy-duty" and not suited well to someone with an injured knee. Our therapy kit (if used with appropriate guidance of a health care professional) is much more gentle on your knee. After you graduate from this set, then you may be ready for the gym, pending your doctor's approval.
3. Who makes the set? This is professional quality equipment, made by DonJoy, one of the country's top suppliers of rehabilation sets to physicians.
4. Will my insurance cover this equipment? Unfortunately, nearly all insurance companies DO NOT cover this type of equipment. It may be available at a local brace store, but at a significantly higher price.
5. Why do you carry the DonJoy kit instead of the Breg kit? We recently switched over to DonJoy's version because we liked the quality and the instruction manual. The tubes provided are made by Theraband®, the world's recognized standard in resistance tubing. Additionally, and importantly to most of our customers, we were able to negotiate better pricing and therefore pass the savings on to you!
